etaConference - Secure Teleconference Server
Phone conferences are an attractive target for any attacker. While regular, bilateral calls are often characterized by chat, phone conferences tend to be strategic and decision oriented. Also conferences are only as secure as the least secure connection of any of the participants. Thus it is often not advisable to allow participants which are traveling abroad.
etaConference allows to establish secure conference calls. If desired all participants need to call in from an encrypted line or trusted network. Then the etaConference Server takes care of all required cryptography to secure all communication channels.
etaConference is part of the etaSuite. As such it is an add-on to the etaCarina Secure PBX. Conference setup, configuration, and monitoring is done from etaConfig, the central, web based configuration tool which comes with etaCarina.
