etaCarina Secure PBX
Encrypting communication between mobile devices is essential. But what do you do if you need to reach your colleagues in the office? What if you want to dial a number in your home countries trusted telephone network when traveling abroad? What if you need to interconnect business branches securely?
etaCarina takes care of your communication security. It connects calls from secure and insecure lines, switches Voice over IP calls to landlines and connects to your existing PBX. Thereby it takes care of all the required decryption and encryption.
etaCarina can be extended with etaConference, a secure teleconference server, and etaSVM, Ethon's secure voice mail system.

- Terminates and switches ZRTP secured calls using AES 256 with Diffie-Hellman key exchange.

- Call forwarding, queues, call groups, custom dial plans, outbound call generation and routing
- Connectivity
- Supports various Voice over IP protocols, drivers for PSTN interfaces and devices (analog, ISDN, SS7)
- Call Switching
- Transcoding (conversion from one media format to another) and protocol conversion (conversion from one protocol to another) for all supported media and protocols.
- Telephone User Interfaces
- Prerecorded voice prompts. Speech synthesis ("text-to-speech") and speech recognition in various languages and dialects are available optionally.
- Highly Customizable
- Database, web service, and LDAP integration. External call management in various programming or scripting language.
- Computer Telephony Integration
- Event notification and CTI integration allows to connect etaDesk and other CTI applications.
- Scalable
- etaCarina Servers can be deployed in clusters for scalability and availability. Each cluster node is able to handle up to 100 encrypted calls and up to 15 call attempts per second.
